We provide manufacturer-based servicing that keeps your warranty intact and unlike the Nissan dealership, we won’t charge you the earth for it either. Whichever option you go for, we’d recommend having your Patrol serviced at SW Motor Services at least annually (unless your vehicle is still under warranty and Nissan recommends something different), and all our servicing work is guaranteed for a minimum 12 months/12,000 miles.

  • Replace fuel filter (if applicable)
  • Replace spark plugs (if applicable)
  • Top up screen wash and check fluid levels
  • Test boiling point on brake fluid
  • Test battery
  • Check all lights and general check over of the vehicle
  • Check tyre pressures and condition
  • Remove all wheels and check the condition of front and rear brakes
  • Grease all hinges doors, bonnet and boot
  • Reset service light
  • Stamp and record service book
  • Test drive vehicle

A lot of people think an MOT is the same as a service and that if you have one, you don’t need the other. However, the MOT is a legally-required checklist that confirms that your vehicle is roadworthy and lets you know of any fixes that already or will soon need making, while a service covers a lot more, including maintenance and repairs that mean your Nissan can pass its MOT.

This means that when you book your service at the same time as your MOT, we catch anything that your Nissan would fail on, and can fix it before the test, making sure your vehicle is safe, running well, and roadworthy, and saving you an extra trip to the garage.
